How are Posterjack Satin Photo Prints Made?

Your Satin Photo Print is made in-house in Toronto by skilled craftspeople and specialized equipment.

Your image is printed onto a Satin Matte resin backed photo paper using HP Vivera water based inks (also known as giclée).
Your Satin Photo Print is cut out using a Zund digital cutting machine, creating a perfectly straight edge and accurate print size.
Your Satin Photo Print goes through final quality control, then is packaged in protective packaging for its trip to your home.

Why should I choose Satin Photo Prints compared to other products?

Satin Photo Prints are a great choice if you are looking for a satin finish that is the perfect balance between glossy and matte. Our Satin photo paper is made in Germany and is a nice thick feeling photo paper. Satin prints are our most popular photo paper and are the best choice if you are unsure which photo paper to select.

How long will it take to receive my Satin Photo Print?

It will take 1-3 days for us to produce, package, and ship your Satin Photo Print. The shipping time from our facility to your door will depend on the shipping service you choose and your proximity to our Toronto facility.

How do I handle a Satin Photo Print?

Our Satin Photo Prints are a true photo paper, so the inks will sit on the top of the print receptive coating. This makes for our most durable photo print. You can handle this photo paper with bare hands, however some transfer of finger oils may show on dark and solid colour areas of the print.

How do I hang my Satin Photo Prints?

All of our Satin Photo Prints are the print only. You can add a frame during the customization process and we will deliver your satin photo print ready to hang. If you do not add a frame, you can frame your print after you receive it or hang it with a poster hanger, tape, or tacks.

What size Satin Photo Print should I choose?

The maximum size of Satin Photo Print you should choose is dependent on the resolution of your photo/image. Most digital photos taken today will work with any of our sizes small or large. The size you should choose is mostly determined by the area where you would like to hang the print. Here are a few of our most popular sizes:

8x10 Inches

8”x10” is a smaller size print used in smaller print arrangements and clusters of prints.

12x12 Inches

12”x12” is a smaller square Satin Photo print that is perfect for Instagram photos.

16x24 Inches

Great service

Good service overall. We printed about a dozen pictures on satin paper. Very satisfied with the results. Only thing to watch for is the gamma. Unless I set a gamma of about 1.2 the dark areas come out too dark as compared to the monitor..
