Glossy Photo Paper

Your Glossy Photo Print is made in-house in Toronto by skilled craftspeople and specialized equipment.

1. Your image is printed onto a glossy, resin backed photo paper using HP Vivera water based inks (also known as giclée).
2. Your Glossy Photo Print is cut out using a Zund digital cutting machine, creating a perfectly straight edge and accurate print size.
3. Your Glossy Photo Print goes through final quality control, then is packaged in protective packaging for its trip to your home.

Glossy Photo Prints are a great choice if you are looking for a glossy finish that gives your print extra pop.  Our glossy photo paper is made in Germany and is nice thick feeling photo paper.  Glossy prints are preferred for situations where you really want your print to draw attention.  Due to the glossy nature of the surface, it is not recommended to frame glossy prints behind glass.

It will take 1-3 days for us to produce, package, and ship your Glossy Photo Print.  The shipping time from our facility to your door will depend on the shipping service you choose and your proximity to our Toronto facility.

Our Glossy Photo Prints are a true photo paper, so the inks will sit on the top of the print receptive coating.  This makes for a durable print, but the glossy surface will show scratches more easily than our Satin Matte photo prints.

All of our Glossy Photo Prints are the print only and are suggested to be displayed on their own without a frame.  They can be hung using a poster hanger, hidden tapes, or tacks.  You can add a frame during the customization process, but we do recommend our Satin Prints for better framing results behind glass. 

The maximum size of Glossy Photo Print you should choose is dependent on the resolution of your photo/image.  Most digital photos taken today will work with any of our sizes small or large.  The size you should choose is mostly determined by the area where you would like to hang the print.  Here are a few of our most popular sizes:

8x12 Inches

8”x12” is a smaller size print used in smaller print arrangements and clusters of prints.

12x12 Inches

12”x12” is a smaller square Glossy Photo print that is perfect for Instagram photos.

16x24 Inches

16”x24” is our top selling size that is big enough to make an impact, but not too huge.  These can be hung in a cluster or stand alone.

24x36 Inches

24”x36” is a large size print that can stand alone on the wall above a mantel or above a smaller couch.

36x48 Inches

36”x48” is one of our larger sizes that will work well above a couch or as a statement piece on a feature wall.
