Photoboards

Your Photoboard is made in-house in Toronto by skilled craftspeople and specialized equipment.

1. Your image is printed directly onto a rigid plastic 1/4" board using our SwissQPrint UV printer.
2. Your print is trimmed out using the routing tool on our Zund digital cutter, for a perfectly clean and straight edge on your print.
3. Your Photoboard goes through final quality control, then is packaged in protective packaging for its trip to your home.

Photoboards are an economical way to get a very high quality and durable print.  Photoboards are very common in Europe under the name "Forex Prints" which is the dense and rigid material the product is named after.  A Photoboard is much more durable than foam core (there is no foam in Photoboards).  You should choose a Photoboard if you are looking for a modern looking print that is lower in cost than Metal Prints or Acrylic Prints.

It will take 3-5 days for us to produce, package, and ship your Photoboard.  The shipping time from our facility to your door will depend on the shipping service you choose and your proximity to our Toronto facility.

Our Photoboards are very durable and can be hung anywhere indoors and also anywhere outdoors.  You can hang Photoboards in bathrooms or other areas where moisture is present.  Our Photoboards have a satin matte finish, so they can be hung under bright lights or in direct sunlight without creating much glare.

Our Photoboards can be ordered with a choice of hanging options and frames.  You will select your hanging option during the creation process.  You will need to use an appropriate fastener such as a nail or screw to securely attach your print to the wall.

The maximum size of Photoboard you should choose is dependent on the resolution of your photo/image.  Most digital photos taken today will work with any of our sizes small or large.  The size you should choose is mostly determined by the area where you would like to hang the print.  Here are a few of our most popular sizes:

8x12 Inches

8”x12” is a smaller size is perfect for gifts,  gallery walls, smaller spaces or to sit on a ledge or shelf.

12x12 Inches

12”x12” is a smaller square Photoboarding that is perfect for Instagram photos.

16x24 Inches

16”x24” is our top selling size that is big enough to make an impact, but not too huge.  These can be hung in a cluster or stand alone.

24x36 Inches

24”x36” is a large size where the print can stand alone on the wall above a mantel or above a smaller couch.

32x48 Inches

32”x48” is one of our larger sizes that will work well above a couch or as a statement piece on a feature wall. 

Photoboards are very durable and easy to clean.  You can clean the surface with a gentle household cleaning agent and a soft, lint free cloth.
