Acrylic Prints

Your Acrylic Print is made in-house in Toronto by skilled craftspeople and specialized equipment.

1. Your image is mirrored and printed onto 1/4" Acrylic Glass using a SwissQPrint UV printer.
2. An opaque backing sheet is adhered behind the ink to lock in the print and provide the opacity to make your image pop.
3. Your print is cutout using a Zund digital routing machine, creating a flawless edge.
4. If you ordered hanging hardware or a frame, they are installed so that your print is ready to hang when it arrives.
5. Your Acrylic print goes through final quality control, then is packaged in protective packaging for it's trip to your home.

Acrylic Prints are a great choice if you are looking for a modern look for your photos.  Their glossy finish and vibrant colours make them a bold choice for photo artwork.  Acrylic prints are a high end product that are often chosen by professional photographers.

It will take 3-5 days for us to produce, package, and ship your Acrylic Print.  The shipping time from our facility to your door will depend on the shipping service you choose and your proximity to our Toronto facility.

Our Acrylic Prints are very durable and can be hung anywhere indoors.  You can hang an Acrylic Print in bathrooms or other areas where moisture is present.  The acrylic has excellent UV protection, so you can hang your Acrylic Print where there is exposure to sunlight, but keep in mind that due to the glossy surface, glare may occur.

If you order one of our hanging kits or frames during the order process, your Acrylic Print will come ready to hang.  You will need to use an appropriate fastener such as a nail, hook, or screw securely attached to the wall.

The maximum size of Acrylic Print you should choose is dependent on the resolution of your photo/image.  Most digital photos taken today will work with any of our sizes small or large.  The size you should choose is mostly determined by the area where you would like to hang the print.  Here are a few of our most popular sizes:

8x12 Inches

8”x12” is a smaller size is perfect for gifts,  gallery walls, smaller spaces or to sit on a ledge or shelf.

12x12 Inches

12”x12” is a smaller square acrylic print that is perfect for Instagram photos.

16x24 Inches

16”x24” is our top selling size that is big enough to make an impact, but not too huge.  These can be hung in a cluster or stand alone.

24x36 Inches

24”x36” is a large size where the print can stand alone on the wall above a mantel or above a smaller couch.

30x40 Inches

30”x40” is one of our larger sizes that will work well above a couch or as a statement piece on a feature wall. 

Acrylic Prints are very durable and easy to clean.  You can clean the surface with a gentle household cleaner and a soft lint free cloth.  Acrylic is susceptible to small micro scratches if cleaned improperly, but the scratches are typically not noticeable.
