Whether you’re just getting married or have been married for 50 years, there’s never a bad time to print your wedding photos. In fact, it’s not uncommon to hear people say they’re finally getting around to printing their wedding photos, despite having been married for nearly a decade (wink to Erin Deichert, featured below).
If you follow us on Facebook, you’re probably familiar with our Artwork of the Week posts. Every Monday, we feature a customer’s Posterjack art along with a little backstory about the image. We love sharing these posts because they highlight our photo art products using real customer photos. The Artwork of the Week photos are real prints ordered by real customers, how cool is that?!
As the season of matrimony is just around the corner, we thought it would be fun to gather together a few of our past Artwork of the Week posts that feature prints of wedding photos. To make it even more interesting, we’ve chosen eight wedding photos that have been printed on eight different Posterjack products. We hope these will inspire you and provide you with ideas on how you can turn your own wedding photos into beautiful art that you can proudly display in your home. Check them out and let us know which is your favourite!
A Beautiful Gift
Jocelyn Routhier had this wedding photo turned into an HD Metal Print as a surprise gift for some friends.
This Artwork of the Week belongs to Jocelyn Routhier. You’re looking at an 18”x24” HD Metal Print.
Jocelyn tells us, “These are my friends on their wedding day. I had this picture made for them as a surprise housewarming gift as they have just moved back into their newly rebuilt home after the wildfire in Fort McMurray took their home one month to the day after returning from their destination wedding. They were married at the end of March 2016 at the Iberostar Varadero resort in Cuba. Darwin Mulligan Photography of Edmonton Alberta captured this photo." A Gorgeous Backdrop
Some of the best wedding photos are completely natural and un-staged.
This Artwork of the Week belongs to Lana. You’re looking at a 12”x18” Canvas Print.
Lana tells us, “The photo was taken at Green Lake behind Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler, BC. We missed the sunset for evening photos (we were having too much fun on the patio!), but my photographers clearly have an eye for gorgeous lighting off the lake and mountains! They convinced the harbour float plane port to stay open for us to capture a few photos after it closed, and they resulted in some of our favourite photos of the day. Most impressively, this photo was completely natural and un-staged. Jenna and Tristan are documentary photographers, so they captured the moment in its most pure, true form!” You can see more Jenna & Tristan photos by visiting their website, http://jennaandtristan.com.
Posterjack Canvas Prints are hand-stretched, made in Canada, and printed using our proprietary photo enlargement technology and world-class printers.

I'm definitely glad I waited.” Erin tells us this photo was captured on her wedding day back on September 16, 2006, in Estevan, Saskatchewan. “I had always dreamed of having a fall wedding and outdoor pictures with all of the fall colours. I asked our photographer to capture casual moments and that's exactly what we got. I had this picture made into an Acrylic Print to display in our family room. I have my wonderful photographer, Lavonne Gorrill, from Lumsden, Saskatchewan, to thank for capturing this beautiful photo.”

This week’s Artwork of the Week is by Dana Blackmore. Dana’s photo was made into an 8”x12” Classic Silver Metal Print with the Stand-Off Kit hanging option.
Here’s what Dana had to say about the photograph, “This photo was taken at my nephew’s wedding this summer in Petawawa, Ontario. This image is of his darling little girl Chloe! She was standing in the wedding party and I caught this image of her while she wasn't looking. She was absolutely the perfect little flower girl, loving her pretty dress! My nephew and his new wife are stationed in Petawawa as he is a proud young member of our Canadian Armed forces.”

The Perfect Location
Brittany Ross and her husband celebrated their first anniversary with a Trash the Dress photoshoot.
This Artwork of the Week belongs to Brittany Ross. You’re looking at a 30”x20” Triptych Canvas Print.
Brittany tells us, “The photo was taken by a friend of mine, Holly Marquette, with En Route Photography. My husband and I, pictured, recently celebrated our first anniversary and wanted a unique way to celebrate; being a photographer myself, a photoshoot just seemed like the right fit. My husband and I run a small cattle operation in Saskatchewan, and this picture is on the riverbank in on of our pastures, looking out at the cows on the other side. It was a 'Trash the Dress' photo session, without actually getting too dirty! An excuse for me to wear my dress one last time, before it doesn't fit! The photo captured us perfectly, this is our happy place, wide open spaces, with some cows around.” You can see more photos by En Route Photography by visiting their website, https://www.enroute-photography.com/.
