A Poster for every Party!

Canada was in the mood to party this past weekend.  As I drove through the streets of Toronto on Sunday evening, the crowds were out on every street corner from the chaos of downtown, to the normally quaint suburbs.

When we arrived to work on Monday morning, we found that we had a lot of Olympic party pictures to print!  Wow, that was fast Canada!  That got me thinking about all of the fun party posters we print.  We like to think that our printing technology is serious and that our quality has to impress even the most discerning photographer.  But at the end of the day, what many of us at posterjack love the most are the fun photos.

For example take a look at Pumpkin Petunia and the posters they had printed for a fun little rocker girl party.  In this particular case, there was some serious planning to get the perfect posters printed for the party, but they needn’t be so in every case.  In fact, we find that most of the photo enlargements we print for parties are of the “gag” flavour.  These are fun photos that showcase great memories and need to be printed large to really show them off so the party can enjoy them.

So the next time you are hosting, attending, or crashing a party – think about how much fun you could add with some photo posters.

Welcome to the official posterjack.ca blog.  It is the dead of winter and we are dreaming about somewhere hot, but the thought of blogging away through snow storms has us pretty heated up at the moment.

If you are just arriving at this blog, the first thing you will probably notice is that it is eerily empty.  That’s because it is.  But don’t worry, now that we have a blog setup, we are dedicated to keeping you informed on all things posterjack and the exciting world of photo enlargement, so keep checking back for regular updates.  We’ll share cool ideas, amazing examples, tips, and more.
